LOCAL: Food & Drinks Near Our Studio
In an effort to support local businesses and creators in our area, ZDS Creative is continuing our LOCAL series—a string of blog posts that details fun shops, activity spaces, food spots and more all within walking distance of our Greenpoint studio space at 67 West St.
Below you’ll find a hand-selected list of food/drink spots that we encourage you to visit either before or after stopping by our studio:
1. Taqueria Ramirez

CLOSED MONDAYS
Visit this street-side eatery for quite literally the best tacos of your life. Vegetarian friendly options available! Our only advice—don’t go on a weekend, unless you’re willing to wait in a line that wraps all the way around the corner (still worth it, just a fair warning).

2. Radio Bakery

OPEN DAILY 7:30AM-3:30PM
Stop by for pastry bests, breakfast specials (until they sell out) lunch vibes (starting at 11 and, again, until they run out) or a fresh morning sip—whatever that means to you. Cute sidewalk seating outside, if you’re lucky enough to snag a table!

3. Twins Lounge

Plan your next private event at this indoor/outdoor cool girl bar, or just stop by to sit in the upper level section and peer down on Manhattan ave through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

4. Five Leaves NY

OPEN DAILY 8AM-11PM
Great brunch options, standout dessert, and a really cool ‘Dining Club Shop’ filled with well designed merch—and the whole thing was made in Heath Ledger’s memory. A bit of a further walk from our studio than the other locations listed here but definitely worth a visit <3

CLOSED MONDAYS & TUESDAYS
The MF ribbon fries! Satisfying to pull apart, even more satisfying when you get one of the tender/less cooked ones (might be niche, but honest). Really well seasoned, and quite literally around the corner from our studio building. Good sandwiches, too. But the ribbon! Fries!!!
